Getting Started with Attainment Tracker
Your first steps with Attainment Tracker - what you need to know and what to expect
Welcome to Attainment Tracker by Swip Tools. This guide walks you through your first steps with the platform — from logging in to understanding what you’re looking at.
What do I need to know? Start here. This page covers how to get in, what the screens mean, and where to go next.
What should I expect? Attainment Tracker shows you what’s happening on your shop floor. It won’t tell you whether things are “good” or “bad” — it gives you information so your team can ask better questions and make better decisions.
What is Attainment Tracker?
Attainment Tracker is a shop floor visibility tool built by Swip Tools. It helps your team:
- See what’s happening on the shop floor as it happens
- Track production cell by cell, so you know where things stand
- Record and categorize downtime so you can investigate patterns
- Calculate OEE as a starting point for understanding availability, performance, and quality
- Customize views so different roles see what matters to them

Your First 5 Minutes
Check What’s Happening on the Floor
-
Look at the OEE Gauge widget. OEE combines availability, performance, and quality into a single number. The color coding is a signal for investigation, not a judgment:
- Green (85%+): Things appear to be running as expected. Worth understanding what’s going well.
- Yellow (65-84%): Something may be worth looking into. What changed?
- Red (below 65%): There’s likely a specific factor driving this. What is it?
These ranges are starting points. Your team will develop its own sense of what’s typical for each cell, part, and shift.
