Troubleshooting Enrollment
QR Code Wonโt Scan
Possible causes and solutions:
โ Camera permission denied
- โ Go to device settings โ App permissions โ Enable camera
โ QR code damaged or unclear
- โ Regenerate QR code and print at higher quality
- โ Ensure good lighting when scanning
โ Wrong app or browser
- โ Use Attainment Tracker app (not generic QR scanner)
- โ Or use Chrome/Safari browser (not default browser on some devices)
๐ธ Screenshot needed: Camera permission prompt
Enrollment Code Invalid
โ Code expired (10 minute timeout)
- โ Generate new code
โ Typo in manual entry
- โ Double-check code entry
- โ Use QR code method instead
โ Code already used
- โ Each code is single-use; generate new code
Device Wonโt Stay Enrolled
โ Device storage full
- โ Clear cache: Settings โ Storage โ Clear Attainment Tracker cache
- โ Increase allocated storage
โ App version mismatch
- โ Update Attainment Tracker app to latest version
โ Network issues
- โ Verify WiFi connection
- โ Check firewall isnโt blocking Attainment Tracker
Sync Issues After Enrollment
โ Firewall blocking
- โ Ensure ports 443 (HTTPS) and 8080 (WebSocket) are open
- โ
Whitelist
*.swiptools.appdomain
โ Certificate errors
- โ Ensure device date/time is correct
- โ Update device OS to latest version
โ Slow sync speed
- โ Check WiFi signal strength (need โฅ3 bars)
- โ Reduce sync frequency for weak connections
- โ Consider WiFi extender for problematic areas
๐ธ Screenshot needed: Sync diagnostics screen
Best Practices
โ Doโs
- Label devices clearly with cell assignments
- Test WiFi coverage before mounting devices
- Laminate QR codes for durability
- Create backup QR codes and store securely
- Document device locations in a spreadsheet
- Schedule regular battery checks for mobile devices
- Update devices during planned downtime
